FileBrowser is a system utility application that displays the hierarchical structure of files, folder, and both internal and external drives (such as memory cards). It can be used to perform general file handling tasks, for example to copy, move, rename, delete, and view file properties. It also hass some additional, such as listing of all files or applications in the system.

FileBrowser offers the basic file and folder handling tools for moving, copying, cutting and pasting
files and folders.
After any operation (such as moving, sending or deleting files), FileBrowser displays the number of
succeeded and failed actions. If there is only one operation and that one fails, generic Symbian OS
error codes are displayed. For example, error code -14 is displayed if you attempt to delete a file
that is currently used by another program. For more information on error codes, see Appendix B.
You can view the listing of error codes for each file and directory entry and also recursively, if
applicable, via RDebug.

You can install the FileBrowser S60 application to the target device by installing the FileBrowser.sis
file on the device. You can then start the tool by selecting the FileBrowser icon from the S60
application list. By default, FileBrowser is found under RnD Tools.
When started, FileBrowser opens the initial view for selecting the drive. For every drive available on
the device, FileBrowser displays the drive letter. If an extended view is selected, also the free disk
memory, the total amount of memory and the media type.
