After the Application is registered on the Phone; the Menu displays ''Settings'', ''Whitelist'', ''Check for Update'', ''About Us'' and ''Help'':
Under the "SETTINGS" Option; you have:
  • Siren File: This option allows the user to change the siren file and select the desired siren tone.
  • Password: User can set the password, which will be used for accessing the application & deactivate the ?Attack Mode?. Eg: To open the application or to deactivate the attack mode dial #*1234.
  • Friend Number 1-2-3: This option allows the user to enter the phone number on which he/she wishes to get the SMS notification in the event of a phone loss or theft. The phone no. can be manually entered or selected from the phone book.
    Note: Select mobile phone number in the above option, as in case of landlines numbers, the notification SMS will be lost. Phone number can be entered in any format for eg: 9619274188 OR +919619274188.
  • Lock Screen & Keypad: User can ?Enable? this option if he/she wishes to lock the screen & keypad when the phone goes in an attack mode. Enabling this option will not allow the user to use the keypad. Disabling the option will allow the user to access the screen & keypad.
  • Personal folders to Hide: When the user selects ?options? in the main screen, an option is provided to him/her for selecting personal folders to hide.
    This option allows the user to select all personal folders which MobiCop will hide in the event of an attack initiated by MobiCop. Options-> personal folders to hide-> options-> add folder-> select phone memory or memory card-> select desired folder.

WHITELIST registers the SIM serial number of the user. If the user is using more than 1 SIM card, Whitelist allows the registration of all his SIM Cards. SIM CARD serial no. can be added by following the steps mentioned below:
  • GO to Option
  • Select Add SIM No. -> It will add the new SIM card no.
  • Similarly you can delete SIM no.
REMOTE SMS COMMANDS:
  • Attack: SMS format: #66# space attack or 1 space . The following SMS will set the device in attack mode. In attack mode the application will retrieve the settings from Settings and it will start to hide the corresponding data & sending notification SMS to the Secondary Numbers. If lock is enabled it will lock the keypad. If siren on lock is enabled it will play siren on lock screen.
  • Restore: SMS format: #66# space restore or 2 space . Will get the device out of Attack Mode and will start to unhide the data which was hidden during the attack mode.
  • Get Phonebook: SMS format: #66# space get or 3 space . Application will start to send Contacts in the Phone Book in a V- Card Format to the mobile number from which the Remote SMS was sent.
  • Delete All: SMS format: #66# space delete or 4 space . It will delete all the data i.e. Images, SMS, Videos, and Audio & Contacts.
INSTALLATION
  • Due to the nature of the application, access after the initial installation is only possible by inputting the password, which by default is #*1234, unless manually changed. The application icon will not appear in your Application Folder.
  • Once the application is opened and the basic settings are made, put it in ?hide’''''''''' mode. The application can then be opened only by keying in #*1234.

UNINSTALLATION
If you want to uninstall / delete the Application from your phone;
You would need to:
Go to Applications/ Tools>> Click Application Manager>>Select MobiCop>>Click on Options>> Remove (without keying the password, it wont allow the user to delete application).
MOBICOP COMMAND (replace 1234 with your own password)
#*1234 to open the application
